Although I've tried to diet throughout my adult life, I've never been able to stick at it for more than a few weeks and however many lbs I've managed to lose are put back on with a few more.
My mindset completely changed just over 2 years ago and I managed to lose 3 stone in little over a few months, however with me being very poorly last year with my stress and anxiety, the weight loss plan went out the window again, but thankfully the weight didn't pile back on.
I decided to get back on plan about 8 weeks ago and to my delight I'd only gained 5lbs. I try to follow the Slimming World diet but overall I cut down my portion sizes, try to eat as much fresh food as I can and drink plenty of water, so far I've managed to lose 8 1/4lbs and dropped 13 inches from around my body.
I'm immensely proud of what I've achieved, it's been a very long and slow process but I'm focussed to keep going and lose a few more stone.
