The first day of Autumn....

Yet it's like a Summer's Day out there, it's absolutely gorgeous and while I've thoroughly enjoyed our wonderfully sunny and hot Summer, I'm totally ready for Autumn, with the cold, dark nights....it's my favourite time of year along with Winter.

So my task for this week is putting away all the shorts, vests, sandals and flip flops to make way for the jumpers, warm trousers or wooly tights and pretty boots and investing in some winter coats for us all.

I love being all cosy and warm inside while it's cold and rainy outside; having to wrap up extra warm to go out anywhere; finally being able to wear layers and pretty scarves and pretty boots and the feeling of being in a lovely warm bed when it's getting frosty outside.

There is just something so romantic about Autumn....
