Word of the Week

What with the week ending in Valentines Day, our Word of the Week most definitely has to be 'Love'.

The little note above was what I put into Erin's packed lunch box for her to see, she had no idea I had put it in there, but she told me it really made her smile and feel happy and loved.

I always make sure I tell each of my children how much I love them at least once a day, we cuddle and give kisses freely and we never part company without telling each other that we love them.

Another thing I've been trying to do more frequently is to tell each child how great they are and how proud I am of them. I've definitely noticed a difference in their confidence since I started doing that.

What word sums up your week? Hop on over to the reading residence and tell us all about it.

  1. Ah, a lovely word and such a sweet note! I always tell my kids I love them several times a day, too, simply because I do so it bursts from me! And yes, I think telling them you're proud and that they're great definitely builds confidence. Thanks for sharing and joining in with #WotW

    1. Thank you for hosting. I grew up in a house that didn't really show your feelings or emotions, so I make it a point to be very affectionate with my children x
